SORSOGON PROVINCE (August 22) -- Sorsogon City is now considered the richest city compared to the other-newly created cities in the Bicol region as confirmed by Florencio C. Diño II, Provincial Assessor, in his weekly report forwarded to the office of the Governor.

Contrary to what other people believe that bats are agents of darkness or bats symbolizes frights and terrors, bats are very useful animals specially in our forest. Bats in the Philippines are considered endangered species because of it’s extinctions due to some irresponsible humans who didn’t know or don’t have knowledge about the importance of this creatures.

For almost one month the 12 Official Candidates were presented to the wonderful people of Sorsogon for them chose their own bets. Not only for the people of Sorsogon but even to visitors as well. According to the organizers of the said event, this year’s search is really one of kind in the history of Sorsogon,s Beauty Pageant. Each candidate was strictly sort out among the hundreds of applicants on this prestigious search.

The search is over; finally the official candidates for the search for the Little Ms.Sorsogon Pili Festival 2006 faced their jurors. The very first search for the Little Ms.Sorsogon was, indeed very successful. Nine pretty, witty and talented young girls with ages 4 to 6 years old showcased their God given talent to claim the very first title of Little Ms.Sorsogon Pili Festival 2006.
